Noelle is an extremely introverted cis white female. Raised in Southern California in the 80s and 90s, she grew up in a lower middle class family along with one younger sister. She is a high school graduate with no formal art education. Like most children, her interest in art began as a simple entertaining activity. Over the years, forging into a purpose-filled exercise in self reflection. Art became a place where she found truth and honesty in a culture addicted to promoting plastic persuasions.
Noelle’s work can be organized into two main categories: “Personal Work” and “Public Work”. Her Personal Work is dedicated to herself. It is a place where she can be completely honest and has only herself to answer to. It has been described as guttural, raw, vulnerable, revealing and spiritual. Often described as multi-dimensional. A deep honest look into the psyche. Noelle’s Public Work is dedicated to the public. It is specifically made for the public. Many have described it as ethereal, other-worldly, from another place or planet. Also described as hyper realism and surrealism. Stunningly alive flora, fruits and fauna with Art Deco elements of design. Overall, Noelle’s work is in a category all on its own, revealing a vibrant window into the reflections inside her mind.
Currently, Noelle lives and paints in a small town on the northern tip of California. Married with two daughters, she lives a very moderate life. Spending time gardening and caring for her animal friends, in-between painting and family time.
